After a goalless first half in Australia, the already-qualified Socceroos broke the deadlock against Bahrain when a cushion pass from Harry Kewell was converted by Derby?s Mile Sterjovski after the visiting defence failed to clear their lines. The Aussies wrapped up the win three minutes from time when David Carney followed up Culina?s lovely overhead-kick which rebounded off the post.
