Livorno 1 - 4 AC Milan

Midway through the first-half Pippo Inzaghi put AC Milan one-up at Livorno after good build-up play by Seedorf and Kaka. Seven minutes into the second-half Inzaghi grabbed his and Milan’s second with a fine header and just before the hour mark the veteran Italian striker completed his hat-trick heading in a corner at the near post. Clarence Seedorf added the fourth on 71 before Knezevic pulled one back three minutes later.
