In his final game in charge of Barcelona, Frank Rijkaard witnessed a flurry of goals in a seventeen-minute spell in the first-half. Real Murcia took the lead when Ocoha headed home, but Barca replied with goals from Samuel Eto’o, Thierry Henry and Giovanni Dos Santos. Seven minutes into the second period, Dos Santos scored his second of the match with a delightful chip and the youngster (rumoured to be on his way to Manchester City or Chelsea) completed his hat-trick fourteen minutes later with a great left-foot finish. Late on the home side pulled a couple of goals back, Ivan from a pen and a free-kick from Abel.
