Tottenham Hotspurs 1 - 2 Sunderland

After a dull first-half, Sunderland took the lead through Keiran Richardson with a fine right-footed strike. Spurs hit back through Jermaine Jenas but late on substitute and debutant Djibril Cisse headed in the winner from a Murphy cross to give Roy Keane’s side their first three points of the season.
