The UEFA Cup holders recorded an emphatic win. Fayzulin and Shirokov put them two-up in twelve minutes. Michkov pulled one back from the penalty spot before Tymoschuk extended the lead with two goals, the second a penalty and Fayzulin completed the scoring on 35 minutes.
